Data we collect
AI Memo is built to keep your diary private. We collect only what we need to run accounts and subscriptions:
- Your account email — only if you sign in to purchase AI Memo Pro.
- Your subscription status.
- Audio you choose to send for cloud transcription — only if you turn on cloud transcription, and only to produce your transcript.
Your diary entries and audio recordings stay on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.
Sign-in, subscriptions & payments
Sign-in and subscriptions are handled with Supabase and the app stores (Google Play and the App Store). Subscription status is managed with RevenueCat. These providers process the account and billing information needed to run your subscription.
Google Drive backup
If you turn on backup, AI Memo requests only the drive.appdata scope. Backups are written to a hidden app-data folder inside your own Google Drive. We cannot see, access, or read any of your other Drive files, and this scope does not let us. AI Memo does not read, share, or sell the data in your backups.
AI Memo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cloud transcription
By default, transcription happens on your device. If you choose cloud transcription instead, the audio for that note is sent to a transcription provider solely to generate the transcript, which is returned to the app. We do not use that audio to train models, and neither do we direct the provider to use it for that purpose.
Deleting your data
- Delete your Drive backups any time from Google Drive settings under “Manage apps.”
- Revoke AI Memo's access from your Google Account permissions page at any time.
- Uninstall the app to remove all diary entries and audio stored on your device.
- Email us at hbilalengr1999@gmail.com to request deletion of your account.
Children's privacy
AI Memo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
